The General Assembly is the highest decision making body followed by a Governing Board.

Constituency
The Namibia Red Cross Society, though small is very active. It has a network of nine Rgional branches, each headed by a Branch Officer. Activities have been prioritized through proper assessment of the beneficiaries’ humanitarian needs, while their input and ownership of the projects are important factors that the National Society considers as important for sustainable implementation of projects.
Mandade
Section 2 (1) of the Namibia Red Cross Act 16 of 1991 gives NRCS auxiliary status to the public authorities. The Namibia Red Cross Act and the Disaster Risk Management Act gives the Namibia Red Cross Society the mandate of being the second responder in times of disasters and other emergencies.
