Our Mandate

Section 2 (1) of the Namibia Red Cross Act 16 of 1991 gives NRCS auxiliary status to the public authorities. The Namibia Red Cross Act and the Disaster Risk Management Act gives the Namibia Red Cross Society the mandate of being the second responder in times of disasters and other emergencies.
